Report: John Wall, Bradley Beal Cut From Team USA

Washington Wizards guards John Wall and Bradley Beal are among the first cuts from Team USA's FIBA World Cup roster, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

The personnel moves -- which will also reportedly include Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap -- will be made official Tuesday afternoon

While Wall and Beal combined to lift the Wizards to a second-round playoff appearance this spring, they each faced incredibly tough competition to crack the Team USA roster. Guards James Harden, Stephen Curry and Derrick Rose are considered shoo-ins, while Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard are likely to make the team.

Washington may actually be the beneficiary of Wall and Beal's exclusion from Team USA as its two best players will be hungry to prove the selection committee wrong.
