Pudge Rodriguez Throws Unconventional First Pitch

The Washington Nationals and their fans were lucky to have Pudge Rodriguez on their team for two seasons.

Arguably the greatest catcher of all time, Rodriguez retired after 21 seasons this week and did so as a Texas Ranger, the team that employed him for 12 years.

The Rangers honored Rodriguez Monday when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch before their game with the New York Yankees.

Yet, Rodriguez did not take the mound. Instead, he took his normal place behind the plate.

Check out the video here.

He's still got it. Is it too soon for a comeback?
