Nick Young's Entertaining Layup Attempt

In what essentially was a road game at Verizon Center Wednesday, the Washington Wizards stunned the Los Angeles Lakers 106-101 in front of a "hometown crowd" (I use that term lightly, considering reports from the game say that 75 percent of the crowd was wearing purple and gold) after rallying from a 21-point second half deficit.

Even though the Wizards shocked the Lakers, Wiz guard Nick Young (who finished with 19 points and a career-high six assists; the latter is not a typo) did something in the second quarter that was not shocking by Wizards standards:

On any other team, Young's botched layup would probably contend for the worst moment of the season, but we are talking about the Washington Wizards. This might actually be an improvement over some of the other mishappenings this season...

Okay, so it is mostly center JaVale McGee, but the point is that Young should not feel as bad because there has been worse.

Also, at what point do the Wizards take the court to this song? We are one more bonehead play away, right?
