"The boy and mom are doing great," Brooks told reporters. "We have another Wizard fan in the family."
The baby boy is Bertans' second child after his daughter Mila was born back in 2018.
It's unclear when Bertans will be back, but the Wizards will surely look forward to his return to the court. In the six games since returning from a calf injury, Bertans had been shooting 50% from three on 7.7 attempts per game.
