Wizards coach showcased Globetrotter skills after first NBA win originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
A dominant win over the Sixers on Monday wasn't the only cause for celebration inside the Wizards' locker room.
Joseph Blair, who is serving as the Wizards' acting head coach with Wes Unseld Jr. in health and safety protocols, earned his first win leading an NBA team. Naturally, Montrezl Harrell soaked him with a tub of water after the game.

"If you would've asked me, 'Would you take that [dousing] to get the win?' I would've taken two of them," Blair said.
As you can see before his speech and dousing, Blair showcased his Globetrotter background with a nice trick as he entered the locker room. Blair spent one season with the Harlem Globetrotters back in 1997-98 in between stops as a pro player in Europe and the United States.
Then in 2013, Blair began his coaching career as a graduate assistant with the University of Arizona. He broke into the NBA as an assistant on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in 2015, and then got his first role on an NBA staff with the Sixers in 2019.
Blair's next win won't be easy to come by, as the Nets travel into D.C. on Wednesday to take on the Wizards, albeit without Kevin Durant.
