Bradley Beal to miss game vs. Suns with back tightness originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
One night after leading the Wizards to a win over the Warriors with a clutch 4-point play, Bradley Beal is out of the lineup due to back tightness.
Beal first experienced discomfort in his back during the game on Friday night. He got treatment in the locker room before returning to help secure the victory.

He will now sit on Saturday against the Suns with the hope of returning on Monday when the Wizards play at the Utah Jazz.
"I don’t think it’s going to be lasting," head coach Scott Brooks said. "I’m hoping with the day off today and the day off tomorrow, he’ll be ready for Utah. I don’t know. That’s my hope."
Brooks clarified that Beal's back issue is not related to the right hip contusion which caused him to miss five games from March 29 through April 5. He returned to play two games before going down with another injury.
Beal, 27, leads the NBA in scoring at 30.9 points per game. In order to qualify for the scoring title, he will need to appear in at least seven of the Wizards' final 20 games.
