The Wizards announced a deal regarding their new partnership with The Clorox Company Thursday, which will be recognized as Washington's exclusive cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing product partner.

The collaboration includes a “Capital One Arena Clean Team” sponsored by Clorox. The team will provide products to help maintain cleanliness in concourses, seating areas and more for every event held at Capital One Arena.

Another part of the arrangement includes a collaboration between the Wizards and Clorox on a community impact program. The Wizards launched their Shop Black DMV campaign in February to educate, amplify, support, and celebrate Black-owned businesses in the area.

This year, Clorox will support six Black-owned businesses with product donations. The six businesses are Spice Suite, Boombox Boxing, Southwest Soda Pop Shop, Ben’s Chili Bowl, The Museum DC and Henry’s Soul Food Café.

“We are excited to join with an industry leader like Clorox to help maintain the health and safety of Capital One Arena with their renowned products,” Patrick Duffy, SVP, Global Partners, Monumental Sports & Entertainment said in a release. “And we are proud of their strong commitment to having a positive impact in the community, which is why we believe this is truly an impactful partnership.”
