When the Wizards Are Scheduled to Play James Harden and the New-Look Nets

When the Wizards are scheduled to play Harden and the Nets originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The Nets shook up the NBA landscape Wednesday by completing a blockbuster trade with the Rockets for James Harden.

Harden will now join Kyrie Irving and reunite with former Thunder teammate Kevin Durant to form one of the NBA's most talented cores. Brooklyn was a championship contender before the trade and is now arguably the favorite to come out of the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Wizards don't have to wait too long to see them on the court. Washington is scheduled to host the Nets on Sunday, January 31 at Capital One Arena.

The Wizards are 1-0 against the Nets this season thanks to a thrilling win on Jan. 3 after Irving and Durant each missed a go-ahead jumper in the closing seconds of the game.

Any future meetings between the two teams are unknown due to the fact that the league has yet to release the second half of the regular season schedule.

Tune in at 6 PM to NBC Sports Washington on Friday for complete coverage of the Wizards' next matchup against the Detroit Pistons.
