WATCH: Moe Wagner knocks down first shot with Celtics originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Just one night after the Wizards traded him to the Bulls -- and then being re-routed to the Celtics in a separate transaction -- Moe Wagner got some minutes against the Bucks and knocked down his first shot in a new uniform.
Boston moved the ball around the perimeter and eventually found Wagner, who promptly hit the open three from the corner.
Wagner wasn't expected to get minutes Friday night, but with Daniel Theis getting traded to the Bulls and Tristan Thompson in health and safety protocols, the Celtics needed him to play some spot minutes at center.
The Wizards sent Wagner and Troy Brown Jr. to the Bulls in exchange for Daniel Gafford and Chandler Hutchison before Thursday's trade deadline.
