Bad news hit Washington on Sunday when Chase Young limped off the field in the second quarter and the team announced he would not return.
Officially Young was diagnosed with a groin injury, and he missed time last month during training camp with a hip flexor issue. Here's the play:
The number two overall pick this year, Young's made a dramatic impact on the field through two games. Going into Sunday's games Young was tied for the NFL lead in sacks with 2.5.
Young has also been a consistent tackler and playmaker against the run too.
When Young left the game, Washington was leading 7-3, the first lead the team has held in the first half this year.
