Washington vs. Arizona Week 2 inactives originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
As the Washington Football Team looks to begin it's season 2-0 for the first time since 2011, they'll have to do so without their top cornerback.
Kendall Fuller has been ruled out of Sunday's contest with a knee injury for Washington, marking the second straight week the team's biggest offseason acquisition will be sidelined. Washington hopes Fuller, who practiced in full earlier this week, will be ready to make his season debut next week in Cleveland.
While Fuller won't be able to go, Washington does get some help defensively as linebacker Thomas Davis is active. Davis, who signed with Washington in free agency, totaled 112 tackles for the Chargers last season. He was held out of Washington's Week 1 win with a calf injury.
Linebacker Cole Holcomb is out for Washington. The second-year pro injured his knee during Washington's Week 1 victory over Philadelphia last Sunday. Holcomb practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday and Thursday, but did not participate on Friday before being ruled out for Sunday's matchup.
Running back Bryce Love is also sidelined for the second consecutive week for the Burgundy and Gold. Love, a fourth-round pick of Washington in 2019, is still looking to make his NFL debut.
For the Cardinals, they'll be without starting center Mason Cole, who failed to practice all week with a hamstring injury. Rookie offensive tackle Josh Jones was questionable with an ankle injury, but he is active and appears good to go.
Backup tight end Maxx Williams will also be sidelined for Arizona with an ankle injury.
