Trey Mancini Celebrates Completing Six Months of Chemotherapy

Trey Mancini completes six months of chemotherapy originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

This year has been a brutal year for countless reasons, but every now and then a piece of good news shines through.

One of the best announcements of all? Trey Mancini finishing chemotherapy.

Mancini left Spring Training in early March to undergo a then-undisclosed medical procedure. He then announced that the procedure was to remove a malignant tumor and he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer.

He has been forced to miss the entire 2020 season while he underwent chemotherapy. Now, he gets to celebrate an exciting, important milestone in his recovery.

Congratulations, Trey!
