Trae Young puts on a show against Bucks in Game 1 originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Trae Young scored a playoff career-high 48 points to go with 11 assists and seven rebounds in a 116-113 win for the Atlanta Hawks over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
His scoring output in itself was impressive, especially considering this postseason is the first of his young career. But some of the highlights the third-year guard pulled off in the process made it all the more fun to watch.

On one three-pointer, Young hit a crossover that completely lost Jrue Holiday -- one of the NBA's very best perimeter defenders -- buying himself so much time to shoot that he was able to do a little shimmy BEFORE taking the shot, which he of course made.
And it wasn't the last time he would use his quickness to elude Holiday. The level of difficulty was turned up on this clutch floater late in the fourth quarter, but he still nailed it for the and-one.
Holiday wasn't the only Buck to fall victim to Young's handles, Pat Connaughton too.
Young also threw some crazy highlight passes in this one, none better than an alley-oop off the backboard to John Collins.
Despite Young's brilliance, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks had ample opportunities to win the game. If Game 1 is a preview of what's to come in the series, it should be a good one.
