This Wizards-Disney logo mashup couldn't have been done better

The NBA's 2019-20 season will forever be known for its coronavirus hiatus and its resumption in a Disney World bubble. So it's completely fitting for fans to create mashups with NBA teams and some of Disney's most notable brands and characters.

We've already seen reimagined NBA uniforms featuring Marvel superheroes, where the Wizards got Captain America, the Pacers got Black Panther and so on. Now, one artist (@pkairdesigns on Instagram) has created Disney themed logos for each team entering the bubble. It's safe to say the Wizards one is spot on.

This design features a normal look at the Wizards' logo, but instead of the Washington Monument occupying the center, Sorcerers Apprentice Mickey Mouse is in there.

We first saw the character in the iconic Fantasia movie released in 1940, where Mickey, apprentice to a powerful sorcerer, tries on his mentor's magical hat and attempts to use magic to finish up his chores. Unfortunately, Mickey gets way in over his head and loses control of a bunch of brooms and requires his mentor's help to make sure the house isn't destroyed.

It's a classic animation short and the sorcerer-Wizards connection is pretty obvious. The only other logo mashup that could challenge the Wizards' is probably the Pelicans. That logo features the Pelican that saves Marlin in Finding Nemo holding him and Dory in his mouth.
