Tavon Young Leaves Game With Knee Injury, Doubtful to Return

Tavon Young leaves game with knee injury, doubtful to return originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The Ravens were dealt a blow to the secondary when cornerback Tavon Young left Sunday’s game in Houston with a left knee injury. His return is doubtful.

He made a nice play in coverage, but on landing, fell to the ground and immediately grabbed his left knee. He was helped off the field, limping along the way.

Young missed all of the 2019 season with a neck injury and all of the 2017 season with a torn ACL in his left knee.

The Ravens moved cornerback Marlon Humphrey into the slot, like they did a year ago, as Jimmy Smith jumped outside.

There will be more coming on Young’s injury in postgame.
