The Washington Wizards unveiled their 2020-21 City Edition jerseys Thursday and it's a very different look than what Wizards fans may be used to.

"The 2020-21 Nike NBA @washwizards City Edition Jersey takes inspiration from the Wizard's home city of Washington D.C. Stripped side panels and “DC” lettering at the center of the jersey speak to the franchise’s unity and the city at the center of the country," the caption reads.

While the side panels notably feature inspiration from the U.S. flag, the complete jersey color of Gray is what separates this from previous threads the team has sported. Possibly an homage to the Georgetown Hoyas who formally shared Capital One Arena/Verizon Center with the Wizards.
