Russell Westbrook Passes John Wall for Second-Most Triple Doubles in Wizards History

Among other things, Russell Westbrook will be remembered as a historic NBA player with his ability to rack up triple-doubles like they're nothing.

Nothing captures his unprecedented playstyle more than the fact that just 20 games into his Wizards career, Westbrook has already moved into second in team history for triple-doubles.

Westbrook tallied his eighth of the season Saturday night against the Trail Blazers, passing John Wall and Wes Unseld for second all-time in the franchise's history books. Wall and Unseld both had seven in their time in Washington.

Now, Westbrook can set his sights on the all-time franchise record of 15 held by Darrell Walker. Considering he has eight in 20 games, it shouldn't take him much more time to get there.

Tune in to NBC Sports Washington at 9 p.m. Monday for full coverage of the Wizards' next game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
