Ron Rivera and family attended first Wizards game open to fans originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Wednesday night marked the first time since early 2020 that fans were able to attend a Wizards game at Capital One Arena and many were chomping at the bit to be in the stands.
That includes Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera, as he and his wife Stephanie and daughter Courtney were in attendance for Washington's matchup with the Golden State Warriors.
Rivera wasted no time getting to Capital One Arena and cheering on the local basketball team and that's no surprise. He and his family have made every effort to support other teams in the area since joining the community last year.
The group picked a good game to take in, too, as a matchup between the top two scorers in the NBA in Bradley Beal and Steph Curry highlights a crucial game for the Wizards as they aim to make a playoff push.
