Report: Ravens wideout Willie Snead tests positive for COVID-19 originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Ravens wide receiver Willie Snead has tested positive for COVID-19 and will soon become the 23rd player added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list, according to a report from ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.
Snead has played in 10 games this season and has 28 receptions for 379 yards (37.9 yards per game) with three touchdowns. Since the team’s loss to the Steelers on Nov. 1 four games ago, he’s tallied 17 receptions and two touchdowns.
As of Sunday evening, the Ravens’ COVID list is as follows, sorted by position (with reports of Matthew Judon, Mark Andrews and Willie Snead testing positive): QB Lamar Jackson, QB Trace McSorley, RB Mark Ingram, RB J.K. Dobbins, FB Patrick Ricard, WR Willie Snead, TE Mark Andrews, OL Patrick Mekari, OL Matt Skura, OL Will Holden, OL D.J. Reportedly, there were multiple positive tests on Sunday with “at least” one starter involved. That starter was announced as Snead early Sunday evening.
The Ravens-Steelers game, which has already been postponed twice, is still scheduled for Tuesday, but further positive tests in Baltimore each day put that in jeopardy.
