Remember Joe Webb? Eagles Fans Sure Do, and He May Be Back in the NFC East

An old Eagles killer may be finding his way back to the NFC East.

You may remember the name Joe Webb.

If you don't remember the former Vikings quarterback, don't feel bad since his last career start came Jan. 2, 2011, and he hasn't even thrown an NFL pass since 2017, when he went 2 for 6 for 35 yards and an interception playing for the Bills.

Philly fans won't forget what he did in December 2010 though, when Webb, a sixth-round pick in the 2010 Draft, led the Vikings to an improbable 24-14 win over the Eagles, ending their chances at the No.2 seed in the playoffs, throwing for 195 yards and running for a touchdown in his first career start filling in for an injured Brett Favre.

Now he could be in a Giants uniform.

The Eagles are a mess, and if we're being honest, they have much bigger things to worry about than Webb wearing a Giants uniform.

That being said, it's always nice to re-live any horrible memories other NFC East teams and their fan bases have.

We've suffered plenty in Washington, and I don't care if you can bring up a thousand of these situations we've dealt with. If there was ever a season where somehow, Joe freakin' Webb came back to the NFL, got in a game for the Giants, and found a way to win a game where the trickle down effect hurt Philly's slim playoffs chances even though those two team don't even play eachother again, 2020 would be the season.

Of course I doubt much will come of this -- but, what if?
