The Ravens appear to be on the verge of losing two defensive assistant coaches to college football.

Defensive backs coach Jesse Minter is expected to accept the defensive coordinator position at Vanderbilt University, according to Yahoo Sports' Pete Thamel. He'll depart the Ravens after four years with the organization, with 2020 being his first and only year as defensive backs coach.

As previously noted, this is the second defensive assistant to leave for a college defensive coordinator job this week. After the Ravens' season-ending loss to the Bills, Linebackers coach Mike Macdonald accepted the defensive coordinator job at Michigan under Jim Harbaugh.

Before coming to the Ravens in 2017 as a quality control assistant, Minter was the defensive coordinator at Georgia State. He also worked under Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly at Cincinnati, while Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea also worked under Kelly in South Bend.

The Ravens haven't announced replacements for Minter and Macdonald at this time.
