After missing the 2020 season after a Stage 3 colon cancer diagnosis entailed six months of chemotherapy, Trey Mancini made his triumphant return to the field in a spring-training game for Baltimore on Sunday.

In the Orioles first game in Sarasota, Fla. fans gave Mancini a standing ovation. Though Mancini said he won't consider his comeback complete until Opening Day against the Red Sox, this had to be a great feeling for the 28-year-old right fielder considering everything he's gone through.

Then, Mancini managed a base hit in his first at-bat on a beautiful swing.

The ball lofted over the second baseman and landed in that sweet spot right in front of the center fielder in an incredible moment for the Orioles slugger.
