NBA Releases Second Half of Wizards' 2020-21 Regular Season Schedule

Wizards second half of 2020-21 schedule released originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Following the Wizards' first 29 games of the 2020-21 NBA season, the second half of their schedule was released on Wednesday.

After reverting back to the home-city model following a successful postseason bubble in Orlando, the league released only the first half of the league schedule knowing there would be postponements. With Washington taking up a large chunk of those postponements due to a coronavirus outbreak, many of their games will be made up during this second-half stretch.

Winners of five of their last six, the Wizards still have five more games before the All-Star Game break starts on March 5 and ends on March 10, when Washington will then begin the second half of the season against the Grizzlies in Memphis.

After that, the Wizards host their longest homestand of the season with five-straight games at Capital One Arena: Philadelphia (March 12), Milwaukee (March 13 and 15), the Kings (March 17), and the Jazz (March 18).

Also of note, after the Wizards' thrilling overtime win over the Lakers on Monday night, LeBron James and company travel to Washington on April 28. That precedes a five-game road trip over nine days against some of the Eastern Conference's finest -- the Bucks (May 5), the Raptors in Tampa (May 6), Pacers (May 8), and Hawks (May 10 and 12).

Washington's final game of the 2020-21 regular season comes against Charlotte on May 16.

There are seven back-to-backs during this second-half stretch and all games will be televised right here on NBC Sports Washington.
