National Cathedral School alum Bella Alarie signs multi-year endorsement deal with Under Armour

Dallas Wings rookie and former Washington, D.C. high school standout Bella Alarie has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Under Armour, ESPN's Nick DePaula reported Thursday.

The agreement features both footwear and apparel endorsements for Alarie, who was picked No. 5 overall in the 2020 WNBA Draft.

Alarie's rise to stardom began in the DMV when she shined at National Cathedral School. She was named the 2015-16 Gatorade Player of the Year for D.C. and eclipsed 1,000 points during her high school career. Alarie averaged 28 points and 15 rebounds per game during her senior year.

The forward then continued her stellar career at Princeton, where she would win Ivy League Player of the Year three times. In 2019-20, she was unanimously selected for the award. With the Wings making her the No. 5 pick, she became the highest-drafted player in Princeton program history.

Alarie and her new teammates are now down in Bradenton, Florida, as they prepare to play the 2020 WNBA season inside a bubble at IMG Academy.
