Michael Phelps headlines celebrities cutouts for Ravens-Chiefs MNF game originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
After government officials and public health experts advised the Baltimore Ravens against hosting fans inside of M&T Bank Stadium this season, the organization decided to maintain fan interaction through a different medium.
Cardboard cutouts.
Fans can purchase a cutout of themselves to be placed in the endzone of the stadium's lower bowl for $45-$55 -- This is similar to the NBA's addition of "Virtual Fans," within the NBA bubble, except for the fact that participating in the virtual fan section is free.
This news immediately excited Ravens fans all over, including some A-list celebrities.
Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer Michael Phelps, Pastry Chef Duffy Goldman and Country music duo Brothers Osbourne have all had cutouts placed inside M&T Bank Stadium -- Phelps and Brothers Osbourne are both Maryland natives.
All proceeds from the cutouts purchased will be benefiting the Ravens Foundation, Inc. and its support of local COVID-19 relief efforts.
