SEE IT: L.A. Kings’ Brendan Lemieux ejected for biting Brady Tkachuk originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Thanksgiving is over, people. Let’s not take bites out of each other, shall we?
Apparently, Los Angeles Kings forward Brendan Lemieux didn’t get the memo. In the third period of Saturday night’s matchup vs. the Ottawa Senators, Lemieux was involved in a scuffle with Senators forward Brady Tkachuk.

The two were originally given minor penalties for roughing, but Tkachuk wanted another quick word with the official. He complained that Lemieux bit him. Referees took another look at the play, and decided to give Lemieux a five-minute major and ejected him for the bite.
Tkachuk’s hands were indeed very close to Lemieux’s face for a moment, but did he really bite him? Officials definitely thought so, judging by their ruling. Los Angeles would go on to win the game, 4-2.
