Chase Young Returns to DeMatha HS in Latest Chipotle ‘Unwrapped' Ad

Chase Young returns to DeMatha HS in latest Chipotle 'Unwrapped' ad originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Before Chase Young was a standout rookie for the Washington Football Team or a Heisman Trophy finalist at Ohio State, the Upper Marlboro, Md. native was one of the best high school recruits in the country while starring at DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md.

Last month, just before Thanksgiving, Young partnered with restaurant chain Chipotle as part of their "Unwrapped" series, one that allows athletes to give fans a look into their daily lives.

In the minute-long clip, Young is captured going back to his roots at DeMatha and chatting with a bunch of their current players, serving as a mentor and role model for the next generation of star athletes.

"To go back onto the field that I played and just to soak up all that young, fired up energy, I love being able to mentor the next generation," Young said. "Just knowing that I was that kid. You just have to be persistent and have to stay focused, but you have to do it every day."

Now back in his hometown as a member of the Washington Football Team, Young launched his NFL career in front of several friends and family that watched him play growing up as a kid.
