Bradley Beal Re-Enters Health and Safety Protocols Ahead of Wizards Vs. Thunder

Beal re-enters COVID-19 protocols originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

Bradley Beal entered the NBA's health and safety protocols for the second time in as many months ahead of the Wizards' Tuesday night contest against the visiting Thunder, the team announced.

Beal last entered the league's health and safety protocols on Dec. 23 before the Wizards bested the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. A week later when he returned, Beal announced he got vaccinated against COVID-19 out of concerns for his family.

Beal also entered health and safety protocols last July, as Team USA was preparing for the Tokyo Olympics. The star shooting guard ultimately did not make the trip overseas to play for a gold medal.

Now vaccinated, Beal can return from quarantine in six days (as opposed to 10) thanks to the NBA's updated COVID-19 guidelines. Washington plays four teams – Oklahoma City, Orlando, Portland, and Philadelphia – all at home during that span.
