Oh yeah, she's also just 18 years old.
The 18-year-old Yorktown High swimmer registered a 55.66 time in the 100m butterfly on Monday, finishing first in the event. This came just after she broke the previous record of 55.98 seconds set by seven-time Olympic medalist Dana Vollmer at the 2012 London Olympics.
Now as Huske prepares to try and win a gold in Tokyo, the world record may also be in play. If Huske continues to outdo herself each time she enters the pool, the 55.48 time seems to be in reach for the Stanford commit.
