Evgeny Kuznetsov's Contract Details
Kuznetsov's contract was a big topic of conversation among NHL analysts in what was an off-year in 2020-21. But with the world inching back to normal, Kuznetsov has looked like himself again in 2021-22.
The Russian center signed an eight-year, $62.4 million deal on July 2, 2017. With a $7.8 million annual cap hit, Capitals general manager Brian MacLellan expects Kuznetsov to play up to the value Washington fans have come to expect from him. Thankfully, Kuzy has delivered just that this year. His contract ends following the 2024-25 season.
