The U.S. women's national basketball team enters the 2020 Summer Games with high expectations. In Tokyo, they'll compete for their ninth overall and seventh consecutive Olympic gold medal.

Five of the twelve players that will represent Team USA are first-time Olympians, including the Washington Mystics' Ariel Atkins. But the team is far from inexperienced.
