Twitter has given us unparalleled access to the lives of professional athletes, allowing us to really get to know each respective player off the field.
That's a good thing.
Twitter has also allowed crazy/disgruntled people to say whatever they want to professional athletes, like threatening to kill them.
That's a bad thing.
That's what happened to Redskins receiver Joshua Morgan Sunday after his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty late in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the St. Louis Rams arguably cost the Redskins the game.
“I heard everything, especially when they got you on Twitter and they’re sending you death threats,” Morgan said, “and wishing bad on your family, your first born. You see it all, hear it all. You don’t got no choice. But you never let it get to you, especially me being from DC.”
“It’s all over my Twitter.”
C'mon, people. Get it together.

Morgan also told reporters that the NFL fined him for the penalty in question in which he threw the ball at Rams cornerback Cortland Finnegan. Morgan, however, did not disclose how much the fine cost him.
