John Wall Realistic About Wizards' Chances

Each season, most marquee NBA players will yap about how “this year is our year” and go on about bringing the trophy home and their team is the greatest and blah, blah, blah.

John Wall, who ranked himself one of the top five ballers in the league, is a little more realistic about what he thinks fans can expect from the Wizards this year.

“I don’t think we’ll win a championship, but we’re making the playoffs,” Wall told ES News. “We’re just taking steps at a time. You know, this season was a big downfall for us. This season we just want to make the playoffs and give our fans something to be excited for.”

At first we were all “what?” and then we were all “well, he’s right.”

It’s just another example of how smart Wall really is when it comes to the game of basketball.

As for Wizards fans, he only has one request.

“Keep supporting me, and next year’s going to be a better season for John Wall.
