The Nationals finished their season on Wednesday just short of the .500 mark.

As the players pack up their lockers and scatter for the off-season, Nats fans are left less than satisfied with the long wait until next year.

As we mourn the end of days at Nats Park in 2011, let’s take a look back at our favorite Nats moments from the season that was.

Jayson Werth, tired of Teddy constantly losing the presidents’ race, decides to take matters into his own hands.


 

In the final game of the season, Strasburg struck out 10 batters and allowed only 1 hit in 6 innings. Despite ending the season a game shy of .500, it set the tone for what fans can expect next year.
