NFL Fines LaMarr Woodley for Sacking Jason Campbell in ‘Intimidating Manner'

It looks like Gretz is going to have plenty of material to work with for his end-of-season "Worst NFL Fines" post. In addition to Giants defensive end Justin Tuck having his wages garnish-yed for tackling Cowboys quarterback Brooks Bollinger -- and that's all he did, tackle him -- PFT reports that Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley will be out $10,000 for sacking Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell "in an intimidating manner."

Um, what? Intimidating? Does that mean James Harrison should be fined for every play he's on the field, because I'm pretty sure he intimidates a lot of people.

Whatever, here's the video of Woodley's intimidation tactics (sack No. 5, at the 1:15 mark):

Here's a thought: instead of fining Woodley for doing his job, how about the league sanction tight end Todd Yoder for the worst attempt at a block in the history of tackle football. Way to take a dive and get your quarterback maimed, Todd.

On the upside: pansy-fication of the NFL is nearly complete!
