On the women's side, Tamara hopes to build off her strong top 25 female place in last year's Boston Marathon and victory at the Healdsburg Wine Country Half.

Shannon Saunders, 25, Charlottesville, Va.
A James Madison University Top 10 Female Athlete of the Decade, Shannon is eyeing a top 5 finish and an Olympic Trials qualifying time. She is currently a member of Ragged Mountain Racing Team.

Krista Vrombaut, 27, Rock Island, Ill.
Another all-around athlete who has caught the running bug. After competing in her first race in 2008, Krista found she enjoyed the challenge of road racing and is trying to lower her times in this year's race.

Coming off her 2nd place finish in the Bermuda Marathon in January, Muliye is looking for another strong showing. Coached by Sue Borgoz the native Ethiopian is considered a strong contender for this year's race.
