After a long day of playing baseball, I imagine that there is no better way to unwind than to watch several men beat each other up inside an octagon.
That is exactly what the Washington Nationals' Bryce Harper and Edwin Jackson did when UFC invaded the Patriot Center in Fairfax Tuesday.
That striking young lady in the middle is Brittney Palmer, a UFC ring girl. Though if she decided to join the Nationals in some capacity, I'm sure most of the male fanbase would not complain.
Anyway, it's always great to see D.C. athletes out enjoying other sports.
I, however, do have a suggestion for UFC that could generate HUGE revenue. Picture this on the marquee: Bryce Harper vs. his own bat in a highly anticipated rematch.
Think about it.
