Jessie Diggins - Cross-Country Skiing Women's 30km Freestyle

Jessie Diggins became a three-time Olympic medalist after winning silver in the Cross-Country Skiing Women's 30km Freestyle. Diggins has a prior gold from the 2018 team sprint and bronze from the individual sprint earlier in Beijing.

Elana Meyers Taylor and Sylvia Hoffman – 2-Woman Bobsled

Elana Meyers Taylor made history at the Winter Games with her bronze medal win in 2-women bobsled alongside teammate Sylvia Hoffman. Taylor became the most decorated Black Winter Olympian, winning five medals throughout her Olympic career.

David Wise (Gold); Alex Ferreira (Silver) – Freestyle Skiing Men's Halfpipe

Two-time defending Olympic champion David Wise wasn't able to pull off a historic three-peat in the Men's Freestyle Skiing Halfpipe event, but he still made the podium with silver while teammate Alex Ferreira earned bronze.

Brittany Bowe – Women's 1000m

Three-time Olympian Brittany Bowe added a second bronze to her Olympics medal collection with her podium placement in the women's 1000m speed skating event. She was overtaken by Japan's Miho Takagi, who set an Olympic record during the event and snagging gold.

Team USA Women's Hockey

The U.S. women’s hockey team lost to Canada, 3-2, in the gold medal match and won silver. For the fourth straight Olympics, the gold medal game featured the U.S. and Canada.

Alex Hall – Freestyle Skiing Men's Freeski Slopestyle

Alex Hall won gold and was the only skier to eclipse the 90-point mark during the event, earning a 90.01 score on his first run. The win earned Hall his first career Olympic medal.

Nick Goepper – Freestyle Skiing Men's Freeski Slopestyle

Nick Goepper earned silver and secured him his third Olympic medal in the event to date. Goepper won bronze in the inaugural slopestyle competition at the 2014 Sochi Games and won silver at the 2018 PyeongChang Games.

Team USA – Men's Team Pursuit Speed Skating

The speed skating squad consisting of Joey Mantia, Casey Dawson, Emery Lehman, and Ethan Cepuran took bronze behind Team Norway and Team ROC.

Megan Nick – Freestyle Skiing

Megan Nick landed a full double fold in the super final, scoring her a 93.76, and earned bronze.

Team USA – Figure Skating Ice Dance

Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue danced their way to bronze in the Figure Skating Ice Dance event. This is the fifth straight Olympics where the U.S. has medaled in the event and second straight time earning bronze.

Kaillie Humphries (Gold); Elana Meyers Taylor (Silver) – Women's Monobob

Kaillie Humphries won the first-ever gold in the Women’s Monobob and teammate Elana Meyers Taylor joined her on the podium with a silver medal. It's the first time that an American woman has won gold in bobsledding since Jill Bakken and Vonetta Flowers won the two-women race in 2002.

Erin Jackson – Women's 500m Speed Skating

Erin Jackson made history on the ninth day of the 2022 Winter Games, becoming the first Black woman to medal in speed-skating in Olympic history. Not only did she stand on the podium for the Women's 500m, she stood all the way at the top – bringing home Team USA's only gold for Day 9.

Team USA – Mixed Team Snowboard Cross

Mixed team snowboard cross made its debut at the 2022 Olympics, and Team USA won the first-ever gold medal in the event. Lindsey Jacobellis snagged her second gold while it was four-time olympian Nick Baumgartner's first time on the podium.

Team USA – Mixed Team Aerials

Four-time Olympian Ashley Caldwell paired with Chris Lillis and Justin Schoenefeld to win gold at their first Olympics, snagging first place for Team USA in mixed team aerials since 1998.

Nathan Chen – Men's Single Figure Skating

Nathan Chen won singles gold with a stunning 218.63-point free skate, capitalizing on his world record 113.97-point short program for a 332.60-point combined total.

Chloe Kim – Women's Halfpipe

Chloe Kim won gold in the women’s snowboarding halfpipe final, successfully defending her Olympic title from PyeongChang. Kim is the first woman to win two gold medals in the halfpipe. Kim dominated from the start of the final when she opened with a huge method air, then nailed a frontside 1080, a switch 900, switch backside 540 and a cab 1080 to score a 94.00 on Run 1. 

Lindsey Jacobellis – Snowboard Cross

Lindsey Jacobellis' road to redemption was complete when the 36-year-old became the first U.S. athlete to clinch gold in Beijing. Jacobellis, who was known for the 2006 Turin Games mishap that cost her gold at the last minute, can now lay claim to being the oldest medalist in the sport as well as the first to bring home first place for Team USA during the 2022 Winter Games.

Colby Stevenson – Freestyle Skiing Men's Big Air

After a poor first run, Team USA’s Colby Stevenson rebounded in his second and third to win the first-ever Men's Big Air silver medal with a total score of 183.00.

Jessie Diggins Cross-Country Skiing

Jessie Diggins dug deep to secure bronze for Team USA. The win secured the first-ever women’s individual cross-country sprint medal for the United States at the Winter Olympics and just the second overall.

Ryan Cochran-Siegle Alpine Skiing Men's Super-G

Team USA's Ryan Cochran-Siegle won silver in the Men’s Super-G event on day four, 50 years after his mom, Barbara Ann, won the gold in slalom at the 1972 Sapporo Games. Cochran-Siegle almost brought home USA’s first gold medal but was 0.04 seconds short of Austrian Matthias Mayer’s time of 1:19.94. 

Team USA Figure Skating Team Event

Team USA earned silver in the Figure Skating Team Event, its best ever result since it was introduced at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Watch Madison Chock and Evan Bates skate in the Free Dance event on day three, earning the best score of 129.07, narrowly beating the ROC's 128.17.

Jaelin Kauf Women's Moguls

Jaelin Kauf won silver in Women's Moguls on day two of the games, earning Team USA its second silver. Kauf is the first American to medal in Women's Moguls since Hannah Kearney won bronze in 2014.

Julia Marino Women's Snowboard Slopestyle

Julia Marino pulled off a picture-perfect Run 2 of the Snowboard Slopestyle event, landing a cab double underflip 900 and a frontside double 1080 to claim silver and Team USA's first medal of the 2022 Games.
