WASHINGTON, DC - NOVEMBER 17: John Wall #2 of the Washington Wizards waits for an inbounds pass in the second half against the Miami Heat at Capital One Arena on November 17, 2017 in Washington, DC.

Washington Wizards All-Star guard John Wall will be out approximately two weeks, according to the team.

Wall has been experiencing left knee pain and inflammation due to contact during the Wizards game against the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 7.

The guard underwent a MRI exam on Thanksgiving and will receive platelet-rich plasma and viscosupplementation injections to reduce the inflammation in his left knee.

Wall is averaging 20.3 points and 9.2 assists in his 16 games this season.
