Wizards Unveil “Bandwagon Cam” Against Heat

The two-time defending NBA champion Miami Heat were in town on Wednesday to face the Washington Wizards, and when you run roughshod over the Association with a marketable player like LeBron James on your team for several years, collecting new fans is to be expected. Even if those fans have never been to South Florida.

Well, there were a lot of Heat "fans" at Verizon Center on Wednesday, so the home team decided to poke a little fun with something called the "Bandwagon Cam."

The Wizards defeated the Heat handily, taking a 25-point lead after one quarter and holding on for a 114-97 victory. Washington led by as many as 34, which was the largest deficit Miami has faced since April 26, 2012, when they happened to trail by 38 against the Wizards at Verizon Center.
