Tennis superstar Venus Williams will join the defending champion Washington Kastles as they kick off their 2015 home season with a matchup against the Austin Aces Tuesday.
The action will take place at Kastles Stadium in the Charles E. Smith Center in Foggy Bottom (22nd Street NW between F and G streets NW).
Tickets are available here. The action starts at 7 p.m. and doors open at 5:15 p.m.
The Kastles are 1-0 after a 20-17 victory over the Boston Lobsters Sunday.
The Kastles are seeking a fifth-straight World TeamTennis championship King Trophy. They’re led by WTT Coach of the Year Murphy Jensen.
The all-star lineup includes Venus Williams and sister Serena, as well as Martina Hingis, Denis Kudla, Leander Paes, Sam Querrey, Anastasia Rodionova and Madison Brengle.
Prior to the match, the Kastles held a tennis clinic for local children from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
