Strahan Accused of Playing Spy Games

Former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan has been playing amateur detective in an effort to get to the bottom of his girlfriend's relationship with another man. According to the New York Post, Nicole Murphy, Strahan's squeeze and Eddie Murphy's ex-wife, found a tracking device in her car on two separate occasions.

He suspected her of cheating on him with another man, Demetrius Spencer, and, per the newspaper, he had reason to be jealous.

Introduced by a mutual pal, Murphy had been "hiding" her affection for Spencer from Strahan "for almost a year," the sources said. Using the excuse of "business trips," a source said, Spencer and Murphy would jet off to exotic getaways in the Caribbean and Mexico. For several months, the couple had exchanged gushing e-mails, professing their love for each other. In the notes, some of which were obtained by The Post, Murphy told Spencer she planned to come clean to Strahan about their relationship.

Murphy and Specer reportedly called it quits shortly after she discovered the second tracking device while her car was being checked by mechanics. You'd think that the FOX employee could have gotten a more sophisticated device from Keifer Sutherland.

Strahan isn't a stranger to accusations of relationship espianoge. During his contentious 2006 divorce, his ex-wife accused him of tapping her phone and that he'd used a secret video camera to catch glimpses of her sister while she was undressed. Better his sister-in-law than Terry Bradshaw, although both are plenty creepy.
