Redskins Preseason Schedule Released — Sort Of

Let's just assume for a second that there will be an NFL season this year.

(Hey, fans can dream, can't they?)

So, in this fantasy world where labor strife doesn't exist, the NFL on Tuesday released the preseason schedule for the Redskins and all other teams -- sort of.

Specific dates and times weren't given, so be patient with us as we try to explain.

The Redskins are scheduled to open the preseason at home against the Steelers sometime between Aug. 11-15.

They will then go on the road for a pair of games. They'll play the Colts in Week 2, sometime between Aug. 18-22. Then they go up the road to Baltimore for a game on Aug. 25 -- a game that will be televised by ESPN (hence the exact date).

The Redskins will wrap up the preseason at home against Tampa Bay on Sept. 1 or Sept. 2.

Games in weeks 1, 3 and 4 will be shown live by NBC Washington and Comcast SportsNet. Starting times were not announced for any of the games.

Keep in mind, all of this could change depending on what happens in labor talks, so stay tuned.
