Tebow Gets Heisman Love – Harrell Gets the Snub

NEW YORK — Florida's Tim Tebow will go for two against a pair of talented Big 12 quarterbacks when the Heisman Trophy is handed out Saturday night.

Colt McCoy of Texas and Oklahoma's Sam Bradford joined Tebow as Heisman finalists announced today.

McCoy says, quote, "If you're going to play quarterback in our league, you better be able to put a lot of points on the board. He also says there are "just so many good offenses in this league."

Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell was surprisingly left out. He's the latest in a long line of prolific passers to run coach Mike Leach's Air Raid offense and leads the nation with 4,747 yards passing. He's also thrown 41 touchdown passes and has led Texas Tech to a school-record 11 victories and a tie for first in the Big 12 South with Texas and Oklahoma..

Tebow was the first sophomore to win the Heisman last year and is trying to become the second player to win it twice.
