Kelly Coming Back; Furrey Out

A less discussed Redskin sitting out practice plans to return next week -- and he'd better if he wants to fight for his job.

Wide receiver Malcolm Kelly still wasn't taking part in full practice Thursday because of a tweaked hamstring, but he said he will be ready by next week.

It could be a good opportunity for him to play catch-up, as he might be getting more reps with Mike Furrey out. Furrey suffered a concussion, and there is not timetable for his return.

A host of wide receivers are in camp to join the likes Devin Thomas and Santana Moss on the roster, from rookies Terrence Austin and Brandon Banks to veterans Joey Galloway and Bobby Wade. So Kelly needs to get on the practice field and impress.
