Carlos Rogers is not a happy man.

Cornerback Carlos Rogers doesn't know what his future is with the Washington Redskins.

What he's sure of:  He doesn't want what happened this past season to happen again.

"I'm not a backup to nobody," Rogers told the Washington Times. "I'm a starter in this league. Everybody knows that. There's a lot of teams that would give their right arm to have me on their team."

Rogers told the paper he is miffed after playing just nine snaps in the team's game in Cincinnati.  The last year of a five-year deal he signed with the team kicks in next year, but if he sticks with the club is another story.

Shawn Springs seemed to move ahead of him on the depth chart as the season went along, and the signing of DeAngelo Hall during the season made matters worse for Rogers.

The Redskins appear willing to try and re-sign Hall to a longer deal.  That could mean the Redskins will decide whether to keep Springs or Rogers.

Rogers told The Times he will meet with cornerbacks coach Jerry Gray Tuesday in an attempt to get some answers.
