Report: Grand Jury to Investigate Wizards' Gun Incident

NBA could suspend Arenas

Federal prosecutors have reportedly convened a grand jury to explore an incident involving a Washington Wizards star and handguns in the team locker room.

Gilbert Arenas spoke to prosecutors about the incident for two hours Monday.

Reports published in the New York Post say arenas pulled the guns on teammate Javaris Crittenton during a dispute over a gambling debt.

Arenas has denied that, calling the incident a bad joke.

The grand jury will decide whether Arenas should face criminal charges.

Meanwhile, the NBA has not ruled out suspending Arenas, sources close to the situation told ESPN. While that is the league's right, the NBA is expected to follow its usual practice of waiting for a decision from the legal system.
