American Soccer Player's Car Set on Fire Outside Home

United States national team midfielder DaMarcus Beasley is in the market for a new car.

His BMW was set on fire outside his home in Glasgow, Scotland, the Associated Press reports. Police are calling the incident "willful fireraising," also known as arson.

Beasley spoke out about the incident  via Twitter, when he posted, "Someone blew up my car..."

The 27-year-old athlete has lived overseas since 2007. He's currently playing for the Scottish Rangers.

Despite this expensive inconvenience, Beasley is keeping a good attitude and later Tweeted, "Thanks again for ALL the messages and kind words.. But yea I'm doin ok and in the market for a new car! Lol..Gotta try to find some humor."
