Candidates stump in battleground Virginia

Virginia has become a key battleground state for the presidential campaigns of both John McCain and Barack Obama.

The most recent AP poll shows Obama with a slight lead in the state (49 percent to 42 percent).

With the race so close, both parties have spend a large amount of time and money in the state.  Obama and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin both visited the area this week, and both sat down with News4 to discuss issues and outlooks.
