D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty said he would not resign from his current position if Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama were to be elected and ask him to serve in the Obama administration.
"This is the one thing that I would not do if President Obama asked me," Fenty said on News4 Today's Connecting With the Mayor segment Thursday morning.
Fenty went on to say he already has the world's greatest job and loves what he does.
"I actually think I could help serve the Obama mission by keep running a great nation's capital and helping him in what he wants to do for the country."
